About Me

Here are a few of my favorite things

A few of my favorite Thai dishes are Tom Yum Gai, which is a Thai chicken soup with a sour broth that has bamboo, mushrooms and chicken. It tastes so good with rice. Pad kra Prow is also one of my favorites with egg and rice. Thai tea and Thai coffee are my guilty pleasures, now that I’m getting older and trying to be more health conscious I drink both less. Sticky rice with som tum also known as papaya salad is another one of my favorites. Yum woon sen, which is noodles, shrimp, and some chili along other veggies mixed is a favorite as well. It’s hard not to love Thai food.

Fun Fact: I am very particular with Thai restaurants, I critique to the tiniest details because it’s my culture and I don’t like seeing it done wrong. Just a tip if a Thai restaurant does not have mango and sticky rice with coconut milk as a dessert, it’s not a place worth going to in my opinion. Also it should not be too pricey.

A few of my favorite television shows are Master Chef, Grey’s Anatomy, One Tree Hill. Charmed, 90210, Gossip Girl. 2 Broke Girls, Switched at Birth, The Middle, Shark Tank, Empire, Rugrats and Arthur. If you haven’t watched one or more of these, I definitely recommend them all. I love shows with drama and family plots, situations I can relate too. These are all on either Hulu or Netflix except Arthur which you would have to go to pbskids.org to watch I believe. Unless you have the pbs channel or the sprout channel because Arthur is currently on its 22nd season.

My favorite food not including Thai food is all types of food. I love sushi! My favorite things to eat at Mexican restaurants are enchiladas. I love tamales, especially the sweet ones. I love spaghetti, grilled cheese sandwiches, dumplings, chow mein, won ton soup, ooo Korean bbq and bbq in general.

The genres of music I prefer are pop, rap, electronic pop, and electronic.

My hobbies include writing, doing my makeup, shopping, and reading.

P.S. I also have a Facebook page, look for it “Deanna S. Stilwell”

I love spending time with my brothers. One is 6 years old and the other one is 15 years old. The. 6 year old is my baby, and I practically raised both. The baby, however, listens to me way more than the teenager. Comparing how we do things is always fun. For example how we write and which hand we started writing with.
