10 Things I wish I knew Before Getting a Manicure and Pedicure

Hey, ya’ll I’m trying to write more about beauty continuing with my previous post about my mani/pedi experiences.  I recently got my first manicure and pedicure and if you haven’t read my previous posts about my experience I put it off because I wasn’t able to get a manicure due to my job, you can learn more here.

  1. Look for a coupon on Groupon and read reviews on places before deciding on where to go
  2. Book an appointment, so you don’t have to wait
  3. No gel nail polish, not worth the extra time to get it nor the extra cost from my experience
  4. Have tip money ready
  5. Double check pricing before getting anything done that means before entering the place and entering the place ask the person who will be doing your nails
  6. Have a color, design, and style picked out beforehand to save you time
  7.  Go on a day that fits your schedule however try to go on a slow day if possible that way nothing is rushed
  8. Do NOT tip if you didn’t like how any of your services was
  9. Take pictures or take note of the quality of your manicure/pedicure and your nails during the next few weeks
  10. Post a review ESPECIALLY if you had a bad experience, most times management will reach out to you personally and fix the issue with no extra charge. The only thing they’ll ask of you is to update your review.
