What inspired you to start your blog?

What made me start this blog is that I knew how things were for me and feeling alone when it came to me and having fibroids and I wondered if it felt like that for others and wanted to connect with them.

How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging at the beginning of the year

What has been your worst blogging experience if you have any?

I do not have any bad blogging experiences so far and I hope that it stays that way (fingers crossed)

How did you feel when you first started blogging compared to now?

When I first started I was super scared that I was going to get a negative response and now I feel way more confident in myself and the way that I write.

What are your ultimate blogging goals? Meaning what’s the one goal you set out to achieve to say you’ve made it as a blogger if you have any?

My one ultimate goal is to help raise awareness about fibroids and to be helpful to others in the same situation and I am slowly getting that done with more and more people reaching out to me and sharing their stories with me more and more

What has been the hardest thing about blogging for you?

The hardest thing for me so far has been being so open about something that is personal to me.

What is the best blogging advice you’ve received?

The best blogging advice I have gotten is if I am going to do this I cannot be scared of what people are going to think or say about me and hope that I can just help someone who is in the same or a similar situation.

Is there any advice you would give to new bloggers?

If you are going to do this then you have to be able to tune out the haters and really wear some tough skin so that you can keep doing what you enjoy doing and stay true to yourself.

What do you think makes you unique or your journey as a blogger unique that’d you like others to know?

I think that I am unique cause I am talking about something that is going on in my life and I am able to really relate to others on a subject that is so personal and really sensitive and they are able to feel what I feel and open up about their own situation and know that no matter how dark things seem things will get better and they won’t always be dark forever.

    1. Haha I’m also nosy, feel free to look at the other bloggers featured in the series! Awesome that you look for bloggers this way, I didn’t even think of that. I just look at social media bios and then check blogs out based on that.
