Valentine’s Day is around the corner and so I thought I would try my with beauty and fashion. Here’s some inspo for a makeup look for this Valentine’s Day to help you get into the spirit of LOVE! I’m in love with love so this was pretty fun to create. Pink and red were the colors I tried to focus on, unfortunately, I didn’t have a deep red eyeshadow so I had to improvise.
Let me know what you think of the looks at the end.
I have 3 looks for you guys, one is glam, one is perfect for a date, and one is in between! I thought I would try three different looks so you have options on your mood for that day. Whether you’re going to school, work, have a date, going out with friends or doing absolutely nothing! Any three of these makeup looks could suit your plans. 😉
All makeup products are vegan and cruelty-free!
I really love promoting vegan and cruelty-free brands such as NYX, Wet n’ Wild, BH Cosmetics, and E.L.F. because you’re helping fewer animals have makeup tested on them. If you haven’t tried any of these products you should definitely check them out! I highly recommend all of these brands, they are all affordable and they each have their own holy grail products which work very well together.
Let’s get into these makeup looks:
Face makeup: I start off with primer, after that, I apply my foundation.
Primer: Pop Shine Primer
Foundation: Wet n’ Wild
Eye Makeup: I start with my eyeshadow, then I go in with my eyeliner and line my eyes. The last step is to curl my eyelashes and apply a few coats of mascara.
BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow palette
Pink Panther Liquid Eyeliner
E.L.F. Eyelash Curler
Wet n’ Wild Mega Protein Mascara
The second round of face makeup
Blush: Elf blush in Bright pink
Highlighter: Santee Holographic glow
BLEND foundation, blush, and highlighter together
Eyeshadow look number one: Pink eyeshadow that screams Valentine’s Day
Eyeshadow colors used for look #2 Cute and flirty look with shimmery gold lipstick and a shimmery eye shadow.
Eyeshadow colors used for look #3 Glam look complete with gold eyeshadow and red lips.
The only steps that are different are the eyeshadows! The face makeup is all the same, I just blended different shades of eyeshadow for the second and third makeup looks. Of course feel free to alter your makeup to your own preference.
Which look was your favorite?
Valentine’s Day Outfits
I chose these dresses based off the makeup looks so they can both match. One is red and BAM, which screams Valentine’s Day. The second one is pink and makes you think of being in love. The third one is in the middle, not so glam, but not so subtle either.
Flirty blush dresses cute for dates and girl’s night out (girl’s night in too)
Blush pink deep plunge dress that also comes in black, perfect for a fancy date and having a good time this Valentine’s Day.
Super sexy dress with a great coral-y red color which I’m hoping I find something similar because this is such a nice dress for date night.
A nice white simple dress which also falls in the in-between category. I decided to add so keep it classy yet chic for wherever you’re going.
The peachy casual dress which matches the look I mentioned, not too dressy, but too casual either.
