Overall status- I’m recapping my week and so far it’s been a little harder because I bought some cookies, but I know that once I start meal prepping and cooking for the weekend I won’t be snacking as much. I’ve been drinking more tea to help increase my water intake. I used to get really bad cramps that I think were caused by being dehydrated. I’ve done pretty well though, I still walked every day even in the rain. I didn’t go on walks after work because it was too late to go.
Sleeping I slept pretty well this week, no complaints really, I caught a sinus infection so I needed more sleep. Other than that I slept comfortably. Still continuing to not take anything and with my improved diet and exercise, I’ve been able to fall asleep naturally.
Bloating. Okay so I kinda binged on cookies this week, BUT it wasn’t that bad. Even with me binging I wasn’t bloated after eating them, before going to bed and when I woke up. So still no bloating and it’s such a strange peculiar feeling for me because I’m so used to being bloated.
Energy Levels My energy levels were much higher last week, but then again I do currently have a sinus infection so we’ll call a draw.
Eating habits- I’ve been eating okay, not as good as last week because I meal prepped last week as opposed to this week. So this week I ate sushi, soup with jalapeno cheddar cornbread/muffin, vegetarian burrito but mostly soup. The reason I didn’t meal prep was that my boyfriend and I are only buying groceries once a month now. So there was that and I didn’t have the energy to meal prep the night before.
water intake has been pretty well. I’ve been drinking about 1-3 32 ounces of water while I’m at work and then I drink an additional 16-32 ounces of water when I’m at home.
Intermittent Fasting This has been pretty well, I just had one bad slip where I ate 2 fiber brownie bars which have 8 grams of sugar per bar. So I was upset at myself about that, but you are allowed to have 21 grams of sugar in a day. I’m just trying to cut back on sugar during the week and have a cheat meal during the weekend. I’ve been doing pretty good with my intermittent fasting. I start off the day with water and then have a fiber bar at 9-10am since I’m up at 6:45am and out the door by 7:20am and then I arrive at work at 8am and work until 5pm. So for my first meal to be at 1pm (my lunch break), it’s WAYYY too much of a toll on my body. So I opt for a small snack in the morning then I’ll have my first meal at 12pm or 1pm depending on if I had meal prepped or not. Then I’ll have more water until I go home and sometimes a snack if I have something. I’ve been trying not to eat anything until I get home. Once I’m home I hang out for a bit and relax then I make dinner and have dinner at about 6 or 7pm.
