Dieting Month 2

Hey guys, I hope you’re doing well. If you’re not, try counting your blessings and try to change your perspective. Anyways, this month has been soooo much harder because I got bronchitis last month and I still have the cough lingering. Then as you guys may have read, my dog had worms so that had me SUPER WORRIED!

I haven’t been as active as last month, but I’ve still been active. I’m getting an hour of cardio daily throughout the week and then about 30 minutes each day on the weekend. The cardio has helped me have more energy at work and it does make me feel better. It’s also easy to work into my schedule since the park is right next to my workplace and so is a shopping center.

My exercise has consisted of 30 minute walks on my lunch break. I’ll set my fitness watch to the walk mode and then just look around the stores like Target and such or I’ll walk a few laps around the park.

My water intake has been great and I know so because I go to the bathroom even in the middle of the night. So that’s good especially with summer coming up I don’t want to get dehydrated.

As for food, I’ve been working in more fruits and veggies and I haven’t been overeating. I think my portion control has been pretty good. I just have to stick with it to see more results. I try to eat at least 2-3 veggies a day and 1-2 fruits a day. My blood sugar is normal and I’ve stayed active.

I’m going to start incorporating strength training for the rest of the month so it can help me lose weight faster. I don’t eat late night snacks as much, I think that’s due to my water intake throughout the day. I’m happy to say I haven’t been craving sugar.

I’m not at the weight I thought I would be at, but I know if I keep trying and stay consistent then I’ll get there soon enough.

    1. Keep going, the hardest part is having the motivation. Try using an app to monitor your water intake or drinking a cup of water each hour?
