    My Favorite Things About Fall

Fall is officially here, it’s colder in the mornings and even colder at night. The sun is starting to go down a little faster. The leaves are still green, but they’ll change pretty soon. It’s slowly starting to get colder here in California and pumpkin spice lattes among pumpkin spice everything has fallen upon us. I had my first pumpkin spice latte yesterday and it was great. Less sweet compared to the previous times I’ve had it, but it was nice. I’m not a big fan of pumpkin spice anything lol I was just in a mood for a hot drink at Starbucks and it’s been at least 2 years…

What I Wish I Knew Before Moving In With My Boyfriend

Intro Last year my boyfriend and I moved in together and we thought it was going to be amazing and it has been, but I wish I knew a few things beforehand. Finding an apartment together was tough, because we weren’t able to look together at most places since we were in a long distance relationship. That being said our move-in process was delayed a little however, everything ended up working out and I like how we ended up at our little home. Someone will ALWAYS feel like they are doing more for the other person and doing more in the relationship overall. I’ve read in articles in the past…

The Struggles of being in an Interracial Relationship

How many people do you personally know who are in an interracial relationship? One, two maybe three? Well, you might not think that an interracial relationship is completely different from dating someone who is of the same race as you, but it is. I personally don’t know of anyone who’s had a successful interracial marriage, but that doesn’t stop me from admiring those strangers who have made it work. Here are some daily interracial relationship struggles:  A family doesn’t accept you. You or you’re significant other are not accepted by the other’s family because of race or religion possibly both. There’s no way around it most of the time, parents are…

    Crazy Rich Asians Book Reactions

Firstly, I read the book first and I wrote my reaction to the movie first because I know the movie was getting so much hype. Believe me, the hype wasn’t fake, the movie was pretty accurate to the book. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the book, I’ll warn you if I’m about to give a spoiler. Let’s get into this review! Plot I found the plot to be very engaging and although it wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read. I can say I loved the story since it featured all Asian characters with different backgrounds. I love that the author also showed the differences between Asians who are…

First Day of My Last Day of School

It’s so crazy to think I started my last first day of school for my undergraduate degree this past Monday. I can’t believe I’m 3 months away from earning my Bachelor’s degree. I can’t believe I’m so close to earning my second degree. My main goal for my last semester is to do my very best and earn the highest GPA I can. My mom didn’t finish school and although my father did I never had his support growing up. My stepfather has always been tough on me so earning my degree at the end of the year will be the most accomplished thing in my life to date that…

    Little Brother Adventures

Intro My little brother, Dexter, is a 7-year old that I’ve raised from his newborn days up until the age of 5 years old. It stopped at 5 years old because I moved away to attend college. He and I have a special bond for a brother and sister who have a 16 year age difference. Since moving to college, I don’t see him much and since moving into an apartment with my boyfriend I’ve been able to spend more one on one time with him. Last summer my brother came and stayed with my boyfriend and me for 4 days. I took him to watch the Emoji movie, while…

    Interracial Relationships Struggles

Being that I am biracial (half White and Half Thai), I always knew I was going to be in an interracial relationship. Throughout my few experiences with dating, and hearing about my close friend’s experiences I’ve made a list to share some of the struggles that people in an interracial relationship have more of a chance of going through compared to a relationship that consists between two people of the same ethnicity. I wanted to write this to bring awareness and to help people connect like myself who don’t have many friends who are in an interracial relationship. These struggles are in no particular order. I also just wanna say…

Book Review: So Much I Want To Tell You Letters To My Little Sister By: Anna Akana

Hey guys! I finally bought this book that I have been wanting since it came out last year. I definitely recommend this book. If you’d like to get a feel for this book, I suggest watching the video I linked below and also watching this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVmELtFvxuU First off, I have been a supporter of Anna Akana since 2014. I discovered her youtube channel through a Facebook post by Ashton Kutcher. He posted a link to one of her most viewed videos, “Things every girl should know.” This video made me love her lessons and style. Here is a link to that particular video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5u1H8Kyj4Y  After watching that one video,…

    Get to Know me

Here are some personal facts about me enjoy being nosy lol  Growing up, I went to 4 elementary schools. One in Thailand and the other three were in California. However, two of those three were in the same town. I went to an elementary school in Thailand for kindergarten. I remember getting hit on the butt for getting an answer wrong. It was a good experience though and I still have my school uniform with my Thai nickname that my mom sewed on it. I went to one elementary school in the Bay Area and then I moved so I was at another elementary school for a semester. That particular…
