December Traditions Blogmas Day 1

Hello all, I’ve missed each and every one of you and here’s a great big welcome to my new visitors! This will be my first year doing Blogmas and I’m super excited and can’t wait to share so much about myself and my routines with you guys! I have two weeks left of college and then your girl is DONE with her UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE. GO ME!!!!! My biggest concern with Blogmas is staying consistent especially with my finals and projects, but I’m going to do my best and I intend to finish strong!

My December traditions start off with having my tree setup in October, yes that’s correct OCTOBER. I love my cute ass little Christmas tree and it makes me a million times happier seeing it lit up so since October I’ve had my tree plugged in with it’s lights and it’s two little ornaments hanging on it. Once I start buying presents then I wrap them up and set them under my Christmas tree to tempt my boyfriend. HAHA (Yeah I like teasing him)

Last year I bought two little stockings that came with letters and a cheap glitter pen. I thought it would be a fun activity to do with my boyfriend and it was! We spent some time decorating the stockings and we laughed because he wrote, “Poop” on his stocking. Then we hung them up in our apartment and started stuffing them with random things throughout the month. It was a fun little activity. After Christmas last year I was able to find the tiniest little stocking with my boyfriend’s initial on it so that’s his set stocking from now on. I’ve hung it up today and I have to go and find myself a similar one so they can match.

I’ve always seen gingerbread houses, but I don’t think I’ve made one so that’s definitely on the to-do list this year! My boyfriend and I try to steer clear of treats so I think we’ll make a gingerbread house once my younger brothers come and visit us that way they can have a good time eating all of it. I’m pretty excited to decorate a gingerbread house because it’s such a “couples thing” to do and I love doing couple things lol

For the last two years that my boyfriend and I have been dating, near Christmas we go to this Christmas tree in our hometown and take pictures. It’s the biggest tree in town and I’ve made it one of our traditions because I love the lights and I love how intimate it is for us. It’s just us by a very large and very pretty lit Christmas tree. So I am definitely looking forward to that. I plan on making a book purely of those pictures and I think it’s a great little tradition we have.

Last month my boyfriend surprised me with a PUPPY! I have never had a pet growing up so this is my very first dog and ya’ll I’m like afraid of dogs. LMAO (slowly not no more) We plan on taking our puppy, Brody, to take a picture with Santa. Yes, I know it’s crazy. HAHA I don’t care, I want to soak up every second I have with my puppy and spoil him to the MAX! I want to do everything with him and I am so excited to take him to see Santa and to have cute Santa portraits of my baby with Santa. Stay tuned for the pictures, because YAS I am definitely posting them. Also if you would like to follow Brody on instagram , you can here.

I plan on going to the movies a lot more often because I’ll be finished with college and have more downtime. There’s so many movies I would like to see such as: Fantastic Beasts sequel, Creed 2, Ralph breaks the internet, Aquaman, and so many others. Would you guys like to hear reviews after? Let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in.

And there you have it those are a few of my December traditions. I’m honestly very excited to enjoy the holidays and not have to stress about school after. I plan on relaxing and watching a whole bunch of tv and blogging everyday to keep up with you guys. Hope you enjoyed my first blogmas post!

What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
