It’s been about a monthish since I received my first ever Influenster Vox Box, now it’s time for a review! Are you looking for new products to try? Or do you wanna hear about what products not to try? I got you, keep reading to find out what products you should buy and which ones you should skip.
I got my first Vox Box! Whoo! In this Vox Box I received a Cleanser, Vitamins, Charcoal mask, and 2 temporary hair sprays.
About this product: This cleanser claims to remove impurities, makeup and dirt gently off your skin. It’s also made with natural ingredients and is vegan and cruelty free.
Overall thoughts- I really enjoyed using this cleanser. I’ve never used this brand before, however I would TOTALLY buy it. Although it’s a little on the pricier side I would make the splurge for it.
How did this cleanser feel? It felt very soft, gentle, and smooth. It has a very nice smell and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky. It makes your skin feel so FRESH afterwards. It’s a great makeup remover. I prefer using this product at night that way you get more use of out it compared to waking up fresh faced.
How often have I used this cleanser? I mainly use this cleanser when I wear makeup, so I can use the cleanser to remove my makeup nicely without being so harsh on my skin. Other than that I like to use on the weekends as a part of my self-care routine. I don’t use this product everyday because I have a baking soda cleanser, charcoal body bar and a charcoal cleanser as well that I’m trying to use everyday before trying to use up all of my newest face cleanser.
Would I buy this product? I would in fact buy this product, which says a lot because it’s $26!!! That’s definitely a splurge for me, but like I said this product is long lasting and it’s very gentle. I love that it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and made with natural ingredients.
Availible at: Korres.com, Sephora,
About this product- This a pretty known vitamin to help grow your hair and nails while also clearing up your skin.
I’ve taken these vitamins twice in the past to help grow out my hair. This time however, I paid more attention to my nails when taking the vitamins because my nails are weaker. It’s been about a year since I’ve had acrylic nails and they are still not as tough as they use to be.
Overall thoughts- I like this product, but wish they offered other flavors. I love that these vitamins are in gummy form instead of pills. Also these vitamins are pretty affordable, they’re about $13 on average and last up to 3 months.
How often do I use this product? I ate 2 vitamin gummies everyday for a month-ish and I have noticed a difference with my skin and nails first and then my hair.
Would I buy this product? I would buy this product if you’re trying to improve your skin, hair and nails because this was the 3rd time I’ve used it and I was not disappointed.
Available at: local drug stores, Wal-Mart, Target and Costco
About this product- This product is a charcoal face mask which is paraben free, hypoallergenic, fragrance free, vegan, not tested on animals and clinically tested. The purpose of this facial mask is to minimize pores while also making your skin smoother without stripping it.
How often did I use this product? I used this product 3 times and I still have some product left for another mask or two.
Would I buy this product? I would totally buy this product. It’s priced at $10 and you get multiple uses out of it. When the mask dries you can see all of your pores. I would recommend washing the mask off with a wash cloth to save time because that was the longest part of using the mask. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and smooth. It doesn’t dry out your skin nor make it feel sticky.
Available: only on their website I believe.
About this product- It’s a temporary color spray meant for the day and is supposed to be easy to wash off. It’s an alternative to dying your hair so you don’t have permanent damage.
How often did I use this product? I wanted to use this 2-3 times, but the spray only lasted one use because of how long and dark my hair is.
Would I buy this product? I would NOT buy this product because it sucked. I have long hair and I had to use almost an entire can of spray to as much color as I wanted. It lasted me only one use. I’m also a brunette which didn’t make it any better because the color although it showed up it didn’t up as dark as I would have liked.
Overall thoughts: This product didn’t feel nice on my hair. It felt like hair chalk, the only difference is it came out of a can. It washed off nicely in the shower and it came off much easier than hair chalk. It didn’t leave a bad texture after I washed it out, so that was nice. I had the color is my hair for about 5-6 hours maybe an hour longer than that it and it seemed to hold up fine. The color didn’t fade, but it does rub off easy when you touch your hair. Pigmentation was NOT good for brunettes, if you have blonde hair this product would work much better for you. I was disappointed because I had seen this product advertised and I walked past the display in Target multiple times. Overall, I’m glad I was able to try it and that I didn’t have to buy it.
There’s no pictures, but honestly it looks like you applied hair chalk and it has the same texture as hair chalk.
